How To Refuse Research from The Ruins of Its Own Production

Writing in 1965, Mario Tronti’s claim was that the greatest power of working class is refusal: refusal work, capitalist development, and to bargain within a framework. One can see how this "strategy refusal" has been utilised all sorts instances by social movements, but does play out now context wider struggles over autonomy today – not just terms labour struggles; also intersectional feminism queer politics; race decolonialism, geopolitics, populism, environmental concerns; current pandemic? In what ways production manifest itself contemporary artistic, political, social, cultural, or other movements? And, might certain forms come together with politics care "social closeness" when thinking research be refused?
